The Fleetguard LF3000 6-Pack is a case of six genuine Cummins Filtration combination spin-on lube filters that provide BOTH full-flow AND bypass oil filtration in a single canister. This unique dual-stage design eliminates the need for a separate bypass filter, simplifying your maintenance while delivering comprehensive oil protection. The StrataPore synthetic media delivers 98.7% filtration efficiency at 30 microns, capturing soot, dirt, metal particles, and carbon deposits before they can damage bearings, turbochargers, and cylinder walls.

The full-flow section filters all oil passing through the engine at operating speed, while the integrated stacked-disc bypass section captures the finest contaminants on a slower, continuous-flow basis. Together, they provide deeper filtration than a standard full-flow-only filter. The LF3000 is the genuine Cummins Filtration replacement for Cummins OEM 3318853 and replaces four older Fleetguard filters: LF670, LF777, LF691, and LF3333.

Both filters fit the same mount (2 1/4-12 UNS-2B thread). The LF9009 is a drop-in upgrade. If you want extended oil drain intervals, consider upgrading to the LF9009.

When to Replace

Replace at each scheduled oil change interval — typically every 10,000-15,000 miles for B-series and ISC engines under normal conditions. For severe-duty applications (stop-and-go school bus routes, dusty construction sites, heavy towing), shorter intervals of 7,500-10,000 miles may be required. The combination full-flow + bypass design means the filter works harder than single-stage filters and should never be extended beyond the recommended interval.
